My name is Dan Brent, I trained as an auto mechanic and I have over 20 years of experience in the Australian bicycle industry. I have lead the service departments of some of Sydney’s leading bicycle stores and have been a consultant to many government cycling bodies and training facilities.
I was as Head Mechanic & Service Centre Manager at the prestigious Clarence Street Cyclery in the Sydney CBD for 10 years. During this time, I also had the responsibility as technical director of the customer service and warranty department of Trek Bicycles Australia, a privately owned distribution company which serviced over 200 Trek dealers nationwide. Previously, I lead the service departments of King St Cyclery, and bikerepairs.com.au
